Triethyl citrate is a COSMOS natural ingredient for perfumery. Triethyl Citrate (TEC) has no odor. This ingredient is a great “fixative” giving essential oils a longer life. TEC is soluble in alcohol as well as fractionated coconut oil (MCT). Always perform a small test to ensure compatibility as solubility can vary from medium to medium and depends upon the overall blend of materials in play. Use up to 5% in a perfume compound.
