Oh, Oh Organic represents BTSA, based in Madrid, Spain. BTSA was founded in 1994 to produce natural tocopherols and other antioxidants from upcycled vegetable by-products and initially launched for the food industry. Soon they began to market Tocobiol® and Bioxan in the cosmetic industry through Oh, Oh (2004). This product is USDA-NOP Certified Organic. They are also certified to the Non-GMO Project and use only sustainable, non-GMO certified raw materials. Organic Tocobiol is specifically derived from Organic Soy.

Characteristics

Organic Tocobiol is an excellent antioxidant. It is made from the distillation of a single raw ingredient: whole, organic soy oil distillate. It naturally contains mixed tocopherols, plant sterols, squalene and monoglycerides. Tocobiol is oil soluble and a viscous, oily liquid. Tocobiol is just one product in a range of natural, non-GMO antioxidants produced by BTSA. (See Tocobiol, Bioxan T90 and Bioxan SF T50).

Benefits

This is an excellent product to protect food formulation against oxidation, to preserve their active ingredients and to ensure increased product shelf-life. The Tocobiol range protects fats and oils against oxidative rancidity by blocking free radicals. Use at .5% to 1.5% to extend the shelf life of products that contain oils and butters.
