Organic Stearic Acid (Pearls)

Organic Stearic Acid is a small white pearl that
looks and feels waxy. It is often used as a thickening agent in creams and lotions while also adding viscosity. This enhances spreadability and providing
a luxurious feel upon application. In addition, Stearic Acid acts as a stabilizer in emulsions and ensures the uniform distribution of ingredients.

Stearic Acid is multi-functional. It is an emollient and condition the skin to improve texture and appearance. It is effective at forming a moisture barrier to prevent moisture loss, keeping skin hydrated longer. Additionally, it adds structure to a formula plus it acts to boost emulsifiers. Despite its rich texture, this ingredient is non-comedogenic.
