Labeling for Natural Fragrance?

Labeling for Natural Fragrance?

It doesn’t seem fair but…”natural fragrance” still uses the INCI “fragrance”. What can you do to give your customer more info?

Here are some examples, each asterisk is an example of what you can include in your label explanation -

Ingredient List: Snips, snails, puppy dog tails, fragrance*

*Natural Fragrance per ISO 9235, the Natural Fragrance Definition

*Blend of 100% Essential Oils and Natural Isolates

*Certified to COSMOS or NaTrue Natural Standard

*Compliant with State of California Safe Cosmetics Act

You can read this Blog to learn more about the laws and standards defining natural and organic fragrance.
