The standards for organic honey require that the bees are not exposed to any "prohibited substance". Given that bees generally have about a 1.5+ miles radius from the hive, that means there can be no pesticides, herbicides, etc. that would pollute Organic Honey. Organic Tropical Honey is "tropical" due to the tropical flowers that the bees feed on. This honey comes from isolated places all over the world that allow the bees to feed in this pure environment.
