Oh, Oh Organic represents Amazon Oils, a company that respects and grows with the rainforest around them. Historically, production of Amazonian oils was done in an artisanal way, without technical criteria. Once the importance of quality and continuity was realized, whole cosmetic lines were based upon Amazonian oils. We are proud to partner with this UEBT member that values transparency and sustainability.
The Açaí berry used to make this Organic Acai Oil is found throughout the Amazon basin and particularly in the eastern part. This plant tends to dominate the landscape and prefers flooded areas and wetlands with high natural regeneration. Though 20 tons of fruit per hectare are possible in a harvest, Açaí oil is extracted with a very limited yield of only 1%.
